Artist statement: "My work is a fantasy world I have created for anyone to express themselves and their creativity. Exploring a world that reflects not only my artistic abilities but embodies the sole purpose of why I make art with the idea of influencing character designing and exploring creativity, giving viewers the option to interact with the piece to be a part of the art. I utilized a 3D space and 2D canvases for the art of this world to bring it to life and used the support of Aggie.io to add the interactive feature."
Biography
Koby Nguyen goes by he/him, and his artist name is SkullWalkerX, but he goes by Koby or Skull for short! Koby is a character designer and aims to develop a fantasy world where others can bring their characters to life. Koby became interested in art through family, animations, and comics when he was younger. After developing this hobby, the internet influencer, illustrator, and concept artist RossDraws or Ross Tran assured Koby’s career path. Ross had a world with many characters, including their communities, and that’s what Koby strives to be and more. Thus, Koby grew on Twitch through his dedication, amassing a following of 1.8k in a couple of months. Due to the influx, Koby’s commission rate has gone up! Koby developed his art skills through self-taught, education, and online tutorials because experience is everything!
