The BFA, Concentration in Digital Media Art teaches technical and critical thinking skills to empower students as problem solvers and innovators in the field of digital art and technology. Students graduating from the program learn real-world skills using a wide range of industry-standard tools and techniques. Our course curriculum provides hands-on, project-oriented learning in collaborative workshop environments. Outside the classroom, DMA faculty and staff provide ongoing support and mentorship for culminating student experiences including individual projects, group exhibitions, student assistantships, internships and BFA gallery shows. The BFA exhibition is a student and faculty lead exhibition that showcase individual DMA student's capstone project for their BFA degree. The 2023 BFA exhibition take place in December 2, 2023 at the Hammer Threate Center. The exhibition featuring over 20 DMA students and their works.
